Community Sport and Health Officer Apprentice

Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: £240 per week
Advanced Level Apprenticeship (15 months) 

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Community Sport, Health and Youth Engagement Apprentice (two apprenticeships available).

This role combines community engagement, physical activity, health and wellbeing, mentoring and youth work. Working alongside experienced staff, you will support activities that help children, young people and local residents become more active, healthier, more connected and more confident.

No previous experience is required – we're looking for enthusiasm, potential and a willingness to learn.

Garden Lead Worker

Hours: 6 hours per week (working pattern to be agreed)
Location: Cherry Lodge
Hourly rate: £13.45 per hour

This is an exciting opportunity to join The Renewal Trust and lead the delivery of our Cherry Lodge Gardens project, supporting local people to improve their wellbeing, build social connections and develop confidence through gardening and outdoor activities.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about people, community and the benefits of green spaces, and who can create welcoming and inclusive gardening opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate their ability to:

• Plan and deliver engaging gardening and outdoor activities.
• Build positive relationships with participants, volunteers and community partners.
• Support people with varying needs and abilities to take part in activities.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Keep accurate records and contribute to project monitoring and development.
