Our volunteers are very important to us, they support our small staff team and without their help we could not do all the things we do.

We hold a Volunteer Drop-in session on the second Tuesday of the month where you can come along and find out about volunteering with us and what opportunities we have available.
Volunteer Drop-ins for 2024 will take place at Cherry Lodge, King Edward Park from 2pm to 4pm on Tuesdays on 9 July, 13 August, 10 September, 8 October, 12 November and 10 December.
And here are just a couple of the opportunities we have available:
This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly and supportive person to support our Feel Good Gold programme.
Feel Good Gold is a weekly free get together for people aged 66 and over which includes lunch, chat and different activities each week.
We are looking for a volunteer to support us to run smooth and enjoyable sessions for all our participants, this might include helping us serve lunch, prepare drinks, or just making sure the people attending our sessions feel welcome and at ease.
So, if you love working with people and building relationships and have some spare time on a Wednesday and Friday lunchtime we’d love to talk to you.
To find out more come along to one of the drop-in sessions or email recruitment@renewaltrust.org.uk
Feel Good Gold Volunteer Role Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and creative person to support The Renewal Trust’s Mini Movers team in running enjoyable and safe play sessions for young children aged 0 to 4 and their families.
Mini Movers is an established weekly play session helping children develop their social skills and make friends through soft play activities, stories and songs. The sessions take place at our venues across St Ann’s and Sneinton.
You will volunteer alongside passionate colleagues to ensure our Mini Movers sessions are fun, stimulating and inclusive and what you get in return is support and training as required and valuable experience of working with children and delivering appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) activities
So, if you are friendly, energetic and flexible and have some spare time on Monday and Wednesday mornings we’d love to talk to you.
To find out more come along to one of the drop-in sessions or email recruitment@renewaltrust.org.uk
