Volunteers

Our volunteers are very important to us, they support our small staff team and without their help we could not do all the things we do.

Current volunteer vacancies

Feel Good Live Well Support

This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly and caring person to support our Feel Good Live Well sessions at Cherry Lodge.

Feel-Good Live Well is a weekly session for people living with dementia and their families. Each week we come together in a safe, welcoming space to enjoy activities like music, art, reminiscence, gentle exercise, and plenty of time to chat and connect. These sessions also give carers a chance to take a break and find support.

As part of the Feel Good Live Well team, you’ll help us run smooth and enjoyable sessions by welcoming participants, supporting activities, and making sure everyone feels comfortable and included. You might help set up the room, serve refreshments, join in with activities, or simply offer a listening ear.

So, if you love building relationships, helping people feel part of something, and supporting your local community—and you have some spare time on Fridays (term time) between 9:45am and 12:15pm — we’d love to talk to you.

We’ll provide training and support and reimburse travel expenses.
