Volunteer Gardener needed!

We are looking for a volunteer gardener with experience, to help manage and develop the entrance and garden areas around the St Ann’s Allotment Visitor Centre.

There are several terraced areas containing large beds with mix of pollinator friendly annual and perennial plants, a small brick path maze for visitors to enjoy.

There will be basic, repetitive tasks such as weeding, pruning, mulching, some new planting and watering, as well as opportunities to design and create new planting schemes and areas of interest. We will provide gardening equipment and materials, cover travel expenses and any training as required

The Allotment Centre is open Monday to Thursday between 10am – 3pm.

The volunteer hours are flexible however to keep the garden areas looking great throughout the year, we are looking for someone who can offer at least three hours per week or a similar amount of time each month. To find out more contact Nicola on 0115 958 9255 or by email
