Funding Director

We are looking for a full time (37 hours a week) Funding Director to join our team.

You will be responsible for appropriate funding opportunities with the potential to support the work of the charity, and to turn those opportunities into financial realities! You will increase income by developing and submitting compelling grant applications and build strong relationships with funders.

You should be able to demonstrate their ability to:

  • Review, develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy
  • Lead on the establishment of new income streams and the writing of successful funding applications
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with grant makers, corporate and trust donors
  • Ensure that all fundraising and income generation complies with relevant legal requirements and fundraising regulatory requirements
  • Lead and directly support the team in meeting or exceeding its annual fundraising targets

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Join our Board of Directors

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and commercially minded Director to join the Board of Hungerhill Trading.

We are the trading subsidiary of The Renewal Trust, a leading community development trust, who work with the communities of St Ann’s, Sneinton and Mapperley in Nottingham City to create positive social change. We currently manage and own a number of mixed use sites across Nottingham, covering both business and sports spaces.

To help drive our growth and help us realise new opportunities we are seeking a positive leader, who can bring energy and enthusiasm to our property and development debates.

Your contribution will help shape the future of this rapidly evolving property company and will enable The Renewal Trust to continue its work to change lives in St Ann’s, Sneinton and Mapperley.

This is a voluntary position and you would be expected to attend four Board meetings a year. A background in property or development would be desirable, although not essential.
