Hours for all roles: 25 hour per week – Monday to Friday (possibly some evenings and weekends)

Hourly rate for all roles: £9.50 per hour (Real Living Wage)

We will provide you with a varied and exciting work opportunity, lots of training and development opportunities and a great team of people to work alongside.

These are six month job placements for young people (aged 16 to 24) who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long term employment.

Sport in the Community Worker (Casual) needed

We have an exciting opportunity to join The Renewal Trust as part of our communities Team delivering amazing programmes and activities across our venues and with partner organisations.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate their ability to:

  • Deliver sport programmes for children and young people
  • Manage effective relationships with partner organisations
  • Ensure delivery is structured, safe and high quality
  • Be a positive role model and engage people of all ages and disabilities
  • Demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities and inclusivity
  • Enthusiastic and motivated individual with relevant experience within a schools or community sports coaching setting
  • Identify and promote further opportunities and pathways within a community and club setting for all young people on the programme.
  • An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and Safeguarding qualification is required for this role.

Hours: Casual hours including weekends & evenings

Hourly rate: £11.50 per hour

Invitation To Join our Board of Trustees

We are looking for new Trustees to join The Renewal Trust’s Board.

We are a locally and nationally recognised community charity working with communities in St Ann’s, Sneinton and parts of Mapperley in the City of Nottingham. With historic Grade 2* listed St Anns Allotments, award winning Future Leaders of Nottingham programme, a Trading Company offering affordable office space, unique sports partnerships and direct community support – we really are #DoingItDifferently.

Through our work we will nurture happier, healthier and more connected communities. We need you to be an ambassador for our work and for the communities we serve and to guide our future approach.

If you can bring energy, experience and passion, we really want to hear from you! Your contribution would help shape our future and change the lives of families and individuals living in the area.

We are particularly looking for Trustee’s with skills, experience and a passion for:

  • Working with families and an understanding of Safeguarding requirements
  • Communications and Marketing
  • Risk Management
  • Financial and Strategic planning

The Trust is committed to reflecting the community it serves, not just in the staff team but also on the Board of Trustee’s. We welcome applications from our local communities.

Please note that this is a voluntary position, but expenses will be covered. A full induction and Trustee training will be provided. In return we ask that you contribute to and attend monthly Board meetings, relevant sub groups, and to be an ambassador for our work.
